About Us

IRINFO.ORG is comprised of a group of infrared professionals with an extensive and diverse background in thermography. Our staff are experienced, practicing thermographers in all aspects of commercial, industrial, and residential thermography. Our experience includes, performing, consulting and teaching thermography for electrical, mechanical, structural, and petrochemical applications throughout the world using a wide array of infrared imaging equipment.

Since 1980, several of our staff members have been actively involved in the development and authoring of standards and specifications for the infrared industry. These members have also authored numerous technical articles as well as hosting technical seminars and conferences. Several of our staff are also qualified as expert witnesses in the United States and abroad. Additionally, all of our staff members are certified as NDT personnel in accordance with the ASNT document, SNT-TC-1A.

Through this website we hope to share our professional expertise and to provide a forum for others to do the same. It is our desire to bring you information which is timely and accurate. Since we do not sell infrared equipment or inspection services, we can provide information that is unbiased and devoid of marketing hype.

Jim has been an Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® since 1984. He is a co-founder of Jersey Infrared Consultants and a practicing thermographer with over 40 years' experience as an infrared consultant. A Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® and Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP), Jim has written numerous articles, co-written existing standards, and frequently works as an expert witness on projects involving thermography. Jim has been teaching for Infraspection since 1995 and was appointed Director of Infraspection Institute in April 2000. Jim is also an Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer®.

Tom Frail

A Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® and an Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer®, Tom has over 20 years' experience as a Senior Engineering Technician responsible for overseeing infrared inspection activities for all divisions of Consolidated Edison Company of New York. In addition to his extensive thermographic experience, Tom is an expert in power quality and electrical testing and maintenance.  He is a Staff Instructor and Account Representative for Infraspection Institute.

Beth Massaro

Beth is an Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® with over 29 years’ experience in customizing a wide variety of infrared inspections and related PdM services for commercial and industrial facilities.  Beth is Vice President of Sales for Jersey Infrared Consultants.

Mary Molle

Mary is a Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer®.  Receiving her initial certification in 1985, Mary has extensive experience in coordinating infrared inspections for thousands of companies throughout the United States.  She is Vice President of Operations for Jersey Infrared Consultants.

Patty Stricker

Patty became an Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® in 2009.  She has extensive experience in assisting thermographers and their companies initiate and advance their infrared inspection programs.  Patty is an Account Manager for Infraspection Institute.

Bruce Williams

Bruce is a Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® and an Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer™. A seasoned Predictive Maintenance Program Manager for Condition Monitoring and Asset Reliability, Bruce is certified in Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Ultrasound, and Laser Alignment. A US Navy veteran, Bruce has extensive field experience with electrical and mechanical systems, building structures and building commissioning for the United States Department of Defense and High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing.  Bruce is a Staff Instructor for Infraspection Institute.
