InterNACHI Partners with Infraspection Institute for Member Training

Boulder, CO January 30, 2014 – The International Association for Home and Building Inspectors (InterNACHI) has partnered with Infraspection Institute of Burlington, NJ to provide thermographic training for InterNACHI members. The partnership will provide trade-specific thermographic training for InterNACHI members and will also allow members to qualify for continuing education units.

NACHI“Thermography has become an increasingly common tool for home and building inspectors,” says Nick Gromicko, Director of InterNACHI. “Proper training is imperative for accurate diagnoses. Infraspection Institute has been selected as our training partner based on their professionalism and experience of almost 35 years. We believe that the ability for members to gain additional training and certification is invaluable. Among the many benefits for InterNACHI members is exclusive pricing for Infraspection’s online training course, Infrared Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors. Normally priced at $995, this 16 hour course is available to InterNACHI members for just $195.

IR ImageInfrared Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors is a 16 hour theory and application course for the use of thermal imaging for residential and commercial properties. Designed specifically for home and building inspectors, students are taught how to locate common deficiencies in building envelopes, insulated roofs and building subsystems.

IR ImageInfrared Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors provides in-depth and practical instruction for thermographically detecting hidden problems in electrical systems, HVAC systems, roofs, and building sidewalls. Also covered is how to successfully market, price, and sell infrared inspection services. Course completion may be applied to training requirements for achieving Level I certification through Infraspection Institute. The course also qualifies for 16 hours of continuing education by InterNACHI and meets the training requirements for their Infrared Certified professional designation and logo.
