Burlington, NJ  February 20, 2026 -- Infraspection Institute’s annual IR/INFO Conference was recently held in Orlando, FL.  IR/INFO 2026 marks the 36th anniversary for the advanced training conference, technical symposium, and technology expo.  IR/INFO was attended by infrared thermographers, Reliability professionals, and reliability experts from around the world who enjoyed four days of networking, learning, and fun in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.

Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, states, “We were extremely pleased with this year’s IR/INFO conference.  With 7 short courses and workshops plus 25 technical presentations, this year’s conference covered a wide range of infrared applications including, but not limited to: new equipment and technologies, safety, regulations, building inspections, electrical and mechanical systems, thermal imaging of humans, In addition to presentations related to thermal imaging, several presentations covered related predictive maintenance technologies.  We thank our exhibitors, our speakers, and all who attended and helped to make this year’s conference our biggest and best ever.”

On display in the Technology Showcase were the latest in infrared hardware and software, IR windows, condition-based monitoring tools, safety equipment, and offerings by a host of service providers. Sunday evening’s Welcome Reception and dinner provided attendees with an opportunity to relax and network with each other.  Another highlight of the conference occurred on Tuesday evening when guests were treated to a cocktail reception sponsored by TI Reporter™ software.

One of the many benefits enjoyed by IR/INFO attendees was the opportunity to share knowledge and information ‘across the aisle’ with some of the world’s most experienced professionals.  Dave Sirmans noted, “In 25+ years of attending other conferences, this was by far my best experience.  The atmosphere was very inclusive and seeing attendees together who otherwise might be competitors learning together, sharing personal details, and becoming friends was so refreshing.” 

IR/INFO veteran Michael Radak had this to say: “I had a wonderful time this year at IR/INFO. I appreciate the kindness and welcoming environment created by the Infraspection team. I left feeling valued and motivated to pass on the knowledge that was shared during the proceedings.”
