Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer Seal Now a Registered Trademark
Alexandria, VA January 16, 2019 – The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded Infraspection Institute registration for its mark and designation, ‘Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer’.
Upon being notified of the registration, Infraspection Institute’s Director, Jim Seffrin, had this to say: “We are very excited by this development. Successful trademark registration validates our claim to this unique title and ensures that only Infraspection Institute and authorized persons may use our registered mark.”
Responding to requests from thermographers and consumers alike, the Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer® Program is a unique approach to establishing thermographer qualifications. Unlike certifications that rely solely upon the completion of formal training classes, this program is based upon thermographer training, experience, and professional references.
Initial qualification is good for two years and must be renewed biannually. Participants in the program will enjoy several exclusive benefits including permission to use the Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer® seal on their websites, business cards, and company literature. They also qualify for a free listing in the Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer® directory.
Jim Seffrin concluded by saying, “We have invested considerable time and effort into achieving this registration; however, we believe it will help to positively influence our industry. All experienced thermographers are encouraged to join our program in order that they may receive the professional recognition they truly deserve.”
