IR/INFO 2017 a Huge Success

Burlington, NJ February 6, 2017 – Infraspection Institute’s annual IR/INFO conference was recently held in Orlando, FL. IR/INFO 2017 marks the 28th anniversary for the advanced training conference, technical symposium, and technology expo. IR/INFO was attended by infrared thermographers, predictive maintenance technologists, and building inspection professionals from around the world who enjoyed four days of networking, learning, and fun in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.

news01-02-07-2017Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, states, “We were extremely pleased with this year’s IR/INFO conference. With 5 short courses and 23 technical presentations, this year’s conference covered a broad array of infrared applications, new equipment and technologies, home and building inspections, medical applications, and current legal issues. We thank our exhibitors, our speakers, and all who attended and helped to make this year’s conference our best one to date.”

news02-02-07-2017Co-sponsored by Temperatures.com, United Infrared, and Maintenance Technology magazine, this year’s conference also featured the latest in infrared imagers and software from several manufacturers. Sunday evening’s Welcome Reception and Tailgate Party provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with friends and colleagues and to make new acquaintances.

news03-02-07-2017Highlights from the Conference included a keynote presentation by noted author and building performance expert Corbett Lunsford, a pre-conference hands-on workshop, and the formal rollout of the Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer™ program.

I look forward to returning.”

Jim Seffrin concludes: “Plans for Infraspection’s next IR/INFO event are already well underway. IR/INFO 2018 will be held at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter, in New Orleans, LA January 21 – 24, 2018. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another fun-filled and informative event.”
