LLC announced today several new course dates for Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® training courses. Beginning November 25, the Infraspection Institute Level I and Level II courses will be available in Abu Dhabi.

Compliant with ISO and ASNT requirements, Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® courses cover the application of thermal imaging for P/PM, Condition Assessment, Condition Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Forensic Investigations, and Building Sciences. Taught by highly-experienced certified thermographers, courses cover infrared theory, heat transfer concepts, equipment operation and selection, standards compliance, image analysis, and report generation.

During the Level I course, students are trained to identify and document thermal patterns caused by improper design, workmanship or material failure. Specific applications include: electrical distribution systems, mechanical systems, steam systems, refractory systems, underground piping, active thermography, building envelopes, and flat roofs. The Level II course covers advanced infrared theory and noncontact temperature measurement as well temperature limits for operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
